Timber System 7

Complete with integral metal bead to create a shadow gap.

A development of our architrave-less system, Timber System 7 is installed after the plasterboard and prior to skimming and allows the creation of a shadow gap on both sides of the wall. The 'W' section plasterboard bead is factory fitted to one side with the 'Z' section bead fitted on-site after the doorset is installed.

Hardwood Frames

Solid hardwood frames are generally supplied primed due to the installation process.

Hardwood frames can be used on non-fire rated and FD30 doorsets.

MDF Frames

MDF frames are generally supplied primed due to the installation process.

MDF frames can be used on non-fire rated and FD30 doorsets.

Softwood Frames

Softwood frames are generally supplied primed due to the installation process.

Softwood frames can be used on non-fire rated and FD30 doorsets.

NB The minimum frame thickness on FD30 doorset is 44mm for MDF, Softwood, Ash and Beech. The frame thickness on other hardwoods can be reduced to 30mm.
